The Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (SATGAS PPKS) is present to bring about a safe, comfortable campus environment at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Mulawarman that is free from sexual violence. The formation of the task force refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 30 of 2021 on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Institutions.
Duties and Functions
- Prevention - socialization, education, and the strengthening of an anti-sexual-violence culture for students, lecturers, and education staff.
- Handling - receiving reports, providing victim accompaniment, protection, and the examination process in accordance with the regulations.
- Recovery - supporting victim recovery through psychological accompaniment and referral to related services.
- Monitoring - monitoring the follow-up of recommendations and maintaining the confidentiality of the identity of the parties involved.
How to Report
Students, lecturers, or education staff who experience or witness sexual violence may submit a report to the SATGAS PPKS through the faculty leadership or the faculty complaint service channel. The identity of the reporter and the victim is kept confidential.
