Based on the Letter of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Mulawarman Number 822/UN17.3/TU.03.00/2026 dated 20 April 2026, the Faculty of Agriculture Unmul is organizing the Research, Scientific Publication, and Community Service Support Program for 2026. The program is intended for all lecturers and students to improve their tridharma performance - particularly internationally reputable scientific publications, the strengthening of collaborative research, and the quality of community service - while also supporting the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU), academic reputation, and the acceleration toward superior accreditation.

Technical Requirements per Program

1. Q1 / Top Tier Journal Publication

  • Lecturer as the main author (first and/or corresponding author).
  • Journal indexed by Scopus Q1/Top Tier in its field.
  • Article at least with accepted status in 2026.
  • Priority is given to publications from research that has not yet received other funding.

2. Lecturer Journal Publication Indexed by Scopus

  • Lecturer as the main author (first and/or corresponding author).
  • Journal indexed by Scopus (Q1-Q4).
  • Article with published status in 2026.
  • Priority is given to publications that have not yet received other funding.

3. Student Journal Publication (First Author)

  • Student as the first author; supervising lecturer as the corresponding author.
  • Journal indexed by Scopus (Q1-Q4).
  • Article at least with accepted/published status in 2026.

4. Student Proceedings Indexed by Scopus

  • Student as the first author; supervising lecturer as the corresponding author.
  • International proceedings indexed by Scopus with published status in 2026.

5. Lecturer Research

  • Involving at least 2 active students; output being a journal article/proceedings indexed by Scopus (at least reviewed).
  • The lead researcher as the main author and not currently receiving other research funding as a lead.
  • Participating in the Unmul internal research funding selection through LPPM; required to participate in the 6th ICTAFF.
  • Priority is given to Lektor Kepala lecturers who are prospective Professors, and research partnering with start-ups/industry/institutions; themes supporting the SDGs (1, 3, 4, 13, 17).

6. Community Service

  • Involving at least 2 students; output being a community-service journal article at least submitted.
  • The lead community-service member as the main author of the output.
  • Priority is given to activities partnering with start-ups/industry/institutions; themes supporting SDG 1, 3, 4, 13, and 17.

7. Textbook Publishing

  • Used in teaching in accordance with the latest curriculum and the Semester Learning Plan (RPS).
  • Involving the course teaching team and including at least one scientific work of the teaching lecturer as a reference.
  • Attaching the course RPS and having an ISBN.

General Provisions

  • Double funding for the same output is not permitted, unless the established quota has not yet been met.
  • Evidence of publication/proceedings/proposal/report output must be reported.
  • Must include an acknowledgement of funding from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Mulawarman for Research and PkM Support outputs.
  • Program recipients shall observe the principle of equity across departments/study programs.
