Structure Summary

In simple terms, faculty governance is divided into several main parts: the faculty senate and leadership, the administration division, the quality assurance unit, laboratories and experimental gardens, and the departments and study programs.

Faculty Senate and Leadership

The senate provides strategic advice to the faculty leadership. Day-to-day management is led by the Dean, assisted by the Vice Deans.

  • Dean - leads the implementation of the tridharma and faculty governance.
  • Vice Dean for Academic Affairs - manages the curriculum, learning process, and academic quality.
  • Vice Dean for General and Financial Affairs - manages finance, facilities and infrastructure, and general administration.
  • Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnership - manages student services, alumni, and partnerships.

Administration Division

The Administration Division supports the faculty's administrative services so that academic and non-academic activities run in an orderly manner.

Laboratories and Experimental Gardens

The laboratories and experimental gardens support practicums, research, and community service.

  • Biotechnology, GIS and cartography, and the experimental garden.
  • Agricultural product processing, microbiology, post-harvest, and packaging.
  • Animal nutrition, animal production, reproduction, and animal breeding.

Quality Assurance and Study Centers

The Faculty Quality Assurance Center helps maintain academic and non-academic quality, including accreditation support and internal quality audits.

The study centers support thematic research and strategic studies in the field of wet tropical agriculture together with the departments and partners.
