Journal of Agribusiness and Agricultural Communication (JAAC) has first published in April 2018 by Study Program of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mulawarman. Center for Scientific Documentation and Information of Indonesian Institute of Sciences  (CSDI IIS) has given International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2622-5050 for publication of print media to Journal of AAC in 10 August 2018 based on Decision Letter Number 0005.26225050/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2018.08. ISSN for electronic media was given by CSDI IIS in 30 August  2018. JAAC has entered the Indonesian Scientific Journal Database (ISJD). JAAC has applied to be indexed in Portal Garba Rujukan Digital (Garuda) on 24 May 2019. JAAC has indexed in database of Garuda at http://garuda.ristekdikti.go.id/journal/view/15428 since 24 June 2019. Each article in JAAC has Digital Object Identifier (DOI) from Crossref since 23 Juli 2019. JAAC has indexed its article collection in Google Scholar since 14 November 2019.  Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of Indonesia by Decision Letter Number 158/E/KPT/2021 in 9 December 2021 decided the status of new accreditation for JAAC in rank 4 from Volume 1 Number 1 Year 2018 to Volume 5 Number 2 Year 2022..
