The curriculum of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Mulawarman is developed based on the study of Tropical Rainforests and their Environment, referring to the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) and the National Standards for Higher Education, and implementing the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. The curriculum in effect is the 2022 Curriculum, the result of a review of the 2018 Curriculum, which began to be applied in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year.
Curriculum Journey
Since late 1999, the Faculty of Agriculture used a Competency Based Curriculum (Competency Based Curriculum). In 2013 the curriculum changed to a KKNI-based one, then was developed and adjusted in 2015 and 2018, until it was refined into the 2022 Curriculum that implements MBKM.

Two Curriculum Documents
Curriculum Manuscript (Document I) contains the objectives, principles, foundations, content standards, graduate competency standards, process standards, and assessment standards.
Implementative Curriculum (Document II) contains the RPS, learning media and resources, as well as the assessment used in teaching.
MBKM Learning Rights
Referring to Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020 Article 18, undergraduate students may take part of their study load outside their study program: 1 semester (20 credits) in another relevant study program within Universitas Mulawarman, and for a maximum of 2 semesters (40 credits) in higher education institutions outside Universitas Mulawarman.
