Acara ini dibuka oleh Pembantu Dekan I Prof. Dr. Bernatal Saragih, M.Si, dan dihadiri oleh seluruh dosen Fakultas Pertanian. Selain itu juga saat ini dosen cukup mengajukan jurnal secara online, tanpa perlu lagi mengajukan dalam bentuk proposal.
